What ive learned in Microsoft Word 2007 these past two days is how to insert pictures by using the insert tab on the ribbon and modifying it to look nicer. I also found out how to format a document by changing its style and change the font and format of your heading. The book taught me how to insert page borders. One very helpful feature that we learned was the show/hide button. This allows us to see hidden formatting symbols. So these are the skills I learned the pst two days and they prove to be very handy.

Word 2007 Environment

The Microsoft Button has many features such as open, save and print. The Microsoft button is a little circle you can click on at the top of the left corner and it has a lot of options. In Microsoft Word 2007 there are also tabs that help you get to where you want to be in a much easier way than before. There is a home tab, a page layout tab and plenty of other ones. These help you with symbols, how you want your page to look like and other cool stuff.

What is MCAS?

MCAS stands for Microsoft Certified Application Specialist. This is a test that proves that you are a profesional in Microsoft Office. This test is very difficult and tests you on your knowledge of either Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. It gives you fifty minutes to complete the test. If you complete it with a passing score, you will receive a certificate of completion.
